Obesity is one of the rising issues which is attracting concern of the doctors from all over the world. Today about 30% people are diagnosed with obesity and are suffering a great deal. Obesity basically means a condition with excess fat in our body. This can be measured by using the BMI (body mass index) which basically measures the body mass and fat individually and provides the information about the protein, water and vitamin in the body. We all have been conscious about our body and have been trying to search tips to reduce obesity. There are better ways to overcome obesity rather than starving yourself. Losing weight doesn’t mean starving yourself but it takes a proportional diet that actually shows the effects. Here are some tips that will help you get over obesity in a healthy manner.

Act active

It is really important to stay active. Procrastinating things is not a solution to get over obesity. Many activities like walking to work or grocery store or take the flight of stairs instead of an elevator. It will help you stay active and build up your stamina. Obviously working out gymming and doing other physical activities like yoga is better option to stay fit, but starting with this isn’t a bad idea itself.

Working out physically to burn out the fat is really important. Yoga helps you stay fit. Then there is aerobics, Zumba and gym which helps you work on target areas to lose weight. Just dieting doesn’t help you reach your goals but you need to keep up the physical exercise to achieve the goal.

Honey is great for health and easy to digest as it is already digested. Take honey every morning it will help you reduce weight. Every morning as you wake up, mix 1 spoon of honey in warm water and drink it. You may also add a few drops of lemon to enhance the effect. Avoid junk

Today research shows that 90% of obesity is due to an excess of junk food included in our diet. So the best and the first step is to avoid junk food. Include homemade meals and try and cut the entire junk intake. It will affect your health drastically and you will soon no longer be obese.

Stay hydrated

Drink a lot of water each day. It is also a detoxifying agent that helps the body to get rid of the toxins deposited in our body. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water is highly recommended. You must never drink water just after your meal, wait for 30 minutes to have water. After coming home from a party or eating junk, drink a glass of warm water. It helps to eliminate the fat deposited in the body and reduce the ill-effects of junk food.

Beloved breakfast

Never skip your breakfast because this is the most important meal of the day! We all have heard this so many times but we fail to know why? This is because after sleeping for nearly 6-7 hours our stomach is literally starving. It is advised to eat your breakfast within 2 hours of waking up. This helps us to reduce the calorie intake for the rest of the day. Studies have shown that those who eat breakfast weigh lesser than those who don’t.

Fiber foods

Eating high fibre food is mandatory when trying to reduce obesity. This is because these foods are low in fats and rich in fibre. After eating a fibre rich meal for lunch you won’t feel hungry until supper hence saving you from those fatty snacks you would have munched otherwise. These high fibre foods are also really easily digestible and can help you maintain a good blood sugar level and keep you healthy.

Eat leafy

Eating leafy vegetables and salad not only provide important vitamins and minerals to your body but also weight lesser than those who ate meat. Research has found that those who ate an all plant diet and were allowed to eat as much as they want to lose more weight than those who ate a controlled diet. So next time when you are trying to lose weight try going vegetarian.

We all love to have a cup of tea every now and then. Adding spices like cloves, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom makes it taste heavenly, doesn’t it?
